Mayonnaise chutney pork chops with creamy mash

This delicious Mayonnaise Pork Chops recipe is deliciously juicy and the sauce pairs beautifully with the creamy mashed potatoes. Serve your dish with steamed broccoli or a spicy salad.

Easy Pork Chop Mayonnaise Chutney Recipe


For the Pork Mayonnaise Chutney:

  • 1 tablespoon of chosen oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
  • 4 pork loin ribs
  • 3/4 cup Hellmann’s Spicy Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup chutney
  • Brown onion soup in brown package
  • 1 cup of water

For the mashed potatoes:

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1/3 cup Hellmann’s Creamy Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the pork chops:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease a large baking tray.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan over high heat.
  3. Season the pork chops with paprika, salt and pepper and fry in a hot pan for 1½ minutes per side until golden brown. Reduce the fat by cooking on the fat end for 1 minute.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the Hellmann’s Spicy Mayonnaise, chutney, onion soup and water, and pour over the pork chops.
  5. We bake for 30 minutes until the sauce reduces a little and starts to boil on top.

For the mashed potatoes:

  1. Cover the potatoes with water in a medium pot and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cooked through.
  3. Drain the water and mash the potatoes in the hot pot.
  4. Mix the mayonnaise and season to taste.
  5. Add milk (dairy-free) for a smoother puree.

To serve:

  • Serve a pork chop on top of a generous spoonful of creamy mashed potatoes.
  • Serve with steamed broccoli, fresh salad and ENJOY!
