Saturday treat: butter and honey fries



Make this simple snack to enjoy during New Year’s Eve celebrations or during downtime. These delicious and easy Honey Butter Fries can also be made in a deep fryer or in the oven!

You will need

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • vinegar
  • butter
  • honey

method

Peel and wash the potatoes.

Cut them into thin slices like chips with your hands or with a cutter.

Soak the potato slices for 45 minutes in water with rice vinegar.

Then drain and pat dry on paper towels.

Fry twice (or use an oven and a fryer).

Add 3 or more tablespoons of butter and honey to a hot pan and stir.

Turn off the heat when the butter and honey are melted.

Toss the cooked chips into the mixture and season to taste.
