Coles is recalling 11 of its products containing baby spinach amid contamination concerns

Coles is now the fourth supermarket to issue a product recall over concerns its spinach could be contaminated.

Recall 11 Coles own brand products containing baby spinach which are on sale from 8 December.

Almost 50 people in NSW and the ACT have become unwell, with some hallucinating, after eating spinach contaminated with a toxic weed.

Woolworths was the latest supermarket to recall two of its prepackaged salads containing baby spinach after Costco was forced to recall the product over safety concerns.
