Supporters claim that there are no official tickets available for the final, which has caused resale ticket prices to skyrocket to US$5,000.
They claim that most fans cannot afford these prices.
“We come with the hope that some important representative can come and give us information so we don’t have to pay so much money, obviously nobody wants to miss the final so here we are,” said Argentine fan Osmar Peralta.
Many of the fans have followed their team since the start of the tournament and are reluctant to accept not seeing Lionel Messi and his teammates in a historic final.
Argentina will face France in the 2022 World Cup final in Doha on Sunday.
