Two injured in shooting at Charlotte mall, police say

At least two people were injured in a shooting at a mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday, December 15, police said. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said they responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon at the Northlake Mall shortly before 3 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found two victims with gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital, where it was determined that their injuries were not life-threatening. A suspect was arrested at the scene and a firearm was recovered, police said.
