Australia should ‘look at’ New Zealand’s anti-smoking laws

Indigenous smoking program lead evaluator Dr Raglan Maddox says New Zealand’s new law making it illegal for people born in 2009 or later is “something we can look at”.

“It’s incredibly exciting to see the New Zealand parliament listening to the community,” Dr Maddox told Sky News Australia.

“We know that most people who smoke want to quit or want to never smoke.”
