No cracks in the bones
Twenty-two children from a local nursery school and museum workers dusted the models with brushes and dusters on Monday, when the museum is closed.
Curator Kozu Shohei said cleanliness is important as dust on the skeletons makes them look dirty and can also cause cracks in the bones.
He said dusting off the end of the year is refreshing before the new year arrives.
